The Nickel Champion Wine Opener Set (includes walnut table stand & matching handle) Roger's highly polished nickel-plated model authentically reproduces the nickel finish of the original Champion wine opener. The medallion commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Champion. Our Champion series of wine openers recreates the classic lines and distinctive artwork of the original 1897 Champion. The Champion is constructed of zinc die-cast metal, hand-finished and available in three distinctive finishes: Sterling Silver-Plate, Nickel-Plate and Antique Pewter-Plate. The Jacobean vine and flower artwork has been faithfully reproduced on all three models. Each can uncork or re-cork a wine bottle in less than one second. With one effortless swing of the handle, the cork is removed. Push the handle back and the bottle is re-corked. ENGRAVING Roger has created several unique ways our openers can be personalized. Antique pewter or nickel-plated Champions can be engraved with a date or initials. Our table stands can be personalized with an engraved plaque. Plaques come in three sizes and in a variety of finishes. Custom engraved plaques make a special gift even more impressive. It is a wonderful and thoughtful “extra” which will enhance a housewarming, wedding, anniversary, or holiday gift. Companies or organizations can make a wine opener a memorable award.
